Community Round Table: Politics are Personal

2018 has been a tough year for many Americans the wealth gap continues to rise, the poverty rate increases, the middle class dissolves and voting rights of marginalized groups continue to be repressed. For this roundtable we invite the Chicago Native community to host a discussion on who is shaping the future of our community, city, state and nation(s). Through sharing our stories we will begin to develop a collective understanding of what political engagement means here in Chicago. These community conversations will be the first stage to amplifying and leveraging the voices and impact of the Native vote in 2018 and beyond.

Whether you consider politics a personal interest, a volunteer opportunity, career aspiration, or just want to learn more join us to find out how to use your talents to uplift our community.
